Courses & Lectures

With thanks to support from the Heritage and Lottery Fund, and a wealth of talented craftspeople, artists, and leading experts, the Heritage & Learning Centre at Scampston Conservatory is pleased to host a full itinerary of events throughout the year.

Courses

Previous courses have been as varied as willow weaving, embroidery or even bush-craft survival skills! We work closely with a number of local and talented people to deliver a wide range of courses, allowing you to learn a new skill, or develop your hobby. Course vary in length, from half a day to two full days.

Lectures

The Heritage and Learning Centre is proud to host a number of high profile speakers with expertise in diverse fields. Lectures take place in the Conservatory after the gardens have closed, and tickets include refreshments. To find out more about what we have lined up for 2017, please take a look at our Events Calendar
