A wedding at Scampston Hall is truly personal. We are able to offer a range of options which can be tailored to your unique taste and budget, and we provide a professional wedding coordination and event planning service.
Scampston Hall holds a Civil Licence allowing weddings and civil partnership ceremonies to take place in any or all of our elegant reception rooms. The Drawing Room, Dining Room, and South Library all have beautiful views over the surrounding parkland, and full length windows allowing direct access to our glorious gardens. These beautiful reception rooms are the ideal size for ceremonies up to 100 guests.
For larger parties we are now delighted to be able to offer a ceremony on the wonderfully romantic Palladian Bridge.
Brides can prepare for their wedding in the sumptuous and stately South Bow bedroom in the house. From your room, you can descend the spectacular Georgian staircase, making a breathtaking and stylish entrance.
Please remember that if you do decide to hold your ceremony at Scampston Hall it is your responsibility to book the Registrar. Contact details for the Malton Registrar can be found here.
Whether you choose to get married here or in church, Scampston Hall can be the perfect setting for your wedding celebrations. Whether it’s a champagne and canapé reception in our elegant reception rooms, or a lavish dinner and dance, we can accommodate you.
Receptions generally take place in our three main reception rooms and can accommodate up to 200 guests for champagne and canapés. In fine weather your guests can spill out into our stunning gardens. We can organise all your catering, drinks and staffing requirements to ensure the perfect event.
The award-winning contemporary Walled Gardens, and the more traditional formal gardens, provide a tranquil and elegant setting for drinks and evoke a romantic atmosphere for photographs.
Dinners and dances can be held on our stunning marquee site which can accommodate up to 500 guests. All can be dressed and personalised to your style and event.
