Fabulous fungi!

Join us for a stroll in the outer parklands searching for fungus and collecting sweet chestnuts to roast on the campfire.

After meeting, families can test their navigation skills as they head out in search of fugus and sweet chestnuts. They will then return to the woodland education area to roast and eat chestnuts and create some fungus based art.

This session will complete 1 activity needed to earn the RSPB Wild Challenge Award.

About Wildlife Club

Each sessions will offer a wider range of hands-on fun and adventurous environmental activities, as well as an opportunity for outdoor play, crafts and games.

The club is designed to offer its members the chance to experience nature first hand, try new and exciting challenges and learn 'outdoor' skills.

Children can also use Wildlife Club to earning the RSPB’s Wild Challenge Award
