Dragonflies and their cousins, Damselflies, are incredible predators who have been on the earth for millions of years. These creatures live a life of two halves, the first part underwater and the second being masters of the air.
We will try to see both aspects of their life cycle today: looking for adults during our dragonfly safari and searching the depths for larvae during pond dipping.
The session will end with some art and craft in which children can make models of the creatures they have seen.
Children must be accompanied by at least one adult.
