The first in a series of lectures for parents and children. Come along and find out more about the wildlife on your doorstep.
Hosted by Natural England staff and volunteers, this lively mini-lecture for families will reveal the exciting world of wildlife. They will also explain how to help protect and conserve the natural landscape and the creatures within it - enthusing young minds!

Learn about the wildlife of Lower Derwent valley and why the site is so important and how we can look after it. Follow the incredible tales and travels of 'Winston' the whimbrel. The talk will be accompanied by some incredible wildlife photography.
