What's on at Scampston

This year we are very excited to be celebrating the 300th anniversary of Capability Brown, the landscape architect that really transformed the English countryside. We will be bringing you a range of events to celebrate this - 'Walking with Mr Brown' heritage walks will take you through the parkland and show you the key Brownian features at Scampston. These will take place monthly.

The Embroiderer's Guild will be exhibiting in the Conservatory from May until September with work that has been inspired by the surrounding Brown landscape.

We will also be offering a range of family friendly activities, which will help explain the importance of the natural landscape in creating habitats.

Our annual plant fairs - one in June and one in September - will be bigger and better than ever, with the addition of local food stalls. Our Vintage Fair will take place on June 12th.

Interesting courses and lectures will also be taking place throughout the season. Please download a programme and booking form below.
