Farming Activities

On our Scampston, Lowthorpe and Harpham estates we carry out a wide range of farming activities.

Scampston Estate comprises mainly an in-hand arable farming operation, which is carried out with the help of our contractors Albanwise Ltd, as well as a few tenanted farms. We grow mainly wheat and barley crops, with some oil-seed rape. Potatoes are also grown on let land.

At Lowthorpe and Harpham all the farms are tenanted, mainly by arable farmers but also some dairy operations.
