Summary of Responsibilities
The main responsibilities will include:
- Purchase ledger: print, code, sign off and post purchase invoices to Quickbooks
- Sales ledger: assist with raising sales invoices & recharges
- Bankings: assist with depositing takings at the bank and obtaining change for floats
- Organise and assist with servicing of Estate equipment (e.g. alarms, PAT testing)
- Assist with maintenance of Health & Safety records
- Ordering of equipment and management of office stock (e.g. first aid, stationery)
- Submitting monthly electricity meter readings & reconciling electric accounts
- Assist with renewal of contracts such as telephone, electric and merchant services
- Support the office staff with implementing new systems
- Organising staff events
- General admin support including answering the telephone, dealing with post, scanning, filing and archiving
- Other general ad-hoc work as requested by the Management Team and Estate owner
Qualities, Skills & Experience
We are seeking a friendly and personable candidate with the following attributes:
- Ability to work as part of a team as well as on your own initiative
- Good knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Word and Outlook
- Knowledge of accounting software such as Quickbooks or similar would be beneficial but not essential
- High level of organisational and time management skills, as well as being accurate and having great attention to detail
- Confident and professional in dealing with both external and internal parties
- Previous admin and accounting experience essential; in particular with Accounts Payable

Hours
25-30 hours per week. Flexible with working hours, but ideally 9am to 3pm, Monday to Friday.
