"The Hall is a fine example of a Regency country house. A bonus for us was that our tour was conducted by the owner, Sir Charles Legard who was so knowledgeable and passionate about the house. He told us lovely stories of some of the previous owners who's portraits hang throughout the Hall. The Hall, which is still a family home, has been fully restored but has lost none of its authenticity. "

The garden really captures the feel of the European garden style or “prairie planting” look as many of us have come to know it.
