Volunteering at Scampston

We offer a wide variety of volunteering opportunities at either the Heritage & Learning Centre or in the gardens.

Volunteering at Scampston

Volunteers play a vital role in the work that we do at Scampston:

• In the gardens, our volunteers help us maintain the high standards of an award-winning garden.

• In the conservatory, our volunteers perform a wide range of tasks, from meeting and greeting visitors to assisting with setting up for events and the delivery of our education programme.

As an organisation we aim to provide a professional framework within which volunteers can work safely and with proper support, and we are keen to help everyone enjoy their volunteering experience.

As a volunteer you’ll have the opportunity to meet new people, take part in a wide variety of tasks and learn new skills. Volunteering can also enhance employment prospects by offering a range of experiences in a working environment.
