Children will learn about hibernation, migration and animal adaptations while exploring the woodland for natural shelters and signs of winter preparation. They'll create an animal home using natural materials before warming up around the campfire with toasted marshmallows.
Children will continue working through their Wild Passport challenges, developing conservation knowledge and outdoor skills.
About Wildlife Club
A monthly club for families. These sessions will offer a wide range of hands-on fun and adventurous wildlife and environmental activities, as well as the opportunity for
outdoor play, craft and games.
They are designed to offer the chance to experience nature first hand, try new and exciting challenges and learn ‘outdoor’ skills. The club is primarily aimed at families with children aged 5-12, (younger siblings may attend, at parents and leaders discretion, but will need a ticket if they will be joining in with activities). Children must be accompanied by at least one adult.
