The Bothies Community Art Club
Friendly art tuition for those who want to refresh their skills or for complete beginners who would like to ‘have a go’ at something new.

The first and third Wednesday of every month, in the Conservatory, Scampston Walled Garden.
Available Places: 10
10am - 3pm
£15 per session

The formation of this mixed ability group will give you the opportunity to work in a medium of their own choice. You will be shown various techniques in the medium you choose and from time to time challenges will be set to which you may opt in or out. 

Refreshments will be provided throughout the day so bring a pack up for lunch and stay all day. 

About the Course Leader:

Paula is a qualified tutor in drawing and painting who trained at Newcastle University and Bretton Hall College. She has worked in Adult Education and with Community Groups for many years. Her paintings, worked in all medium, have been shown in galleries and at Duggleby’s Auction House. Paula recently joined the Bothies Team in the Conservatory and has set up this Community Art Group for anyone who would like to refresh and renew their skills in art as well as those who are complete beginners. 

PLEASE NOTE: 

Due to the popularity of the class we have decided to run an additional session each month..

The FIRST Wednesday of the month will run as usual and the second session will be on the THIRD Wednesday of the month starting August 19th and continuing on the following dates; 16thSeptember, 21st October and 18th November.

If you find you cannot book on the first Wednesday of the month, please book for the third Wednesday.

However PLEASE DO NOT BOOK FOR BOTH SESSIONS so as to allow new people to attend.
