Meet and make a Nico, Roxy, OOAK bears, or Bonny bunny, depending on your previous experience. All traditional handmade bears and bunnies designed by Jacqueline. These 1920’s style bears and bunnies are made using 100% Schulte Steiff mohair, fully movable cotter pin joints, glass eyes and an embroidered snout. They have plastic pellets in their tummies and are stuffed with polyester stuffing. These delightfully characters are about 23cm high when standing and 17cm when sitting.
This traditional bear making workshop will run in the magnificent Richardson Conservatory within the Walled Garden.
Suitable for:
Adults. Due to the ratinee (multi directional mohair) this workshop is suitable for all levels from complete beginners to those more experienced bear makers. But we do recommend some basic sewing skills.
Please note: that due to some materials Nico is a collector bear, not a toy.
