Children will explore the Scampston grounds, search for signs of wildlife, investigate habitats and learn how they can help protect local species. They'll create a bee water station to take home and support pollinators in their own garden before finishing with a campfire and toasted marshmallows.
Children will complete activities from their Wild Passport throughout the session, developing practical outdoor skills and environmental awareness.
About Wildlife Club
A monthly club for families. These sessions will offer a wide range of hands-on fun and adventurous wildlife and environmental activities, as well as the opportunity for
outdoor play, craft and games.
They are designed to offer the chance to experience nature first hand, try new and exciting challenges and learn ‘outdoor’ skills. The club is primarily aimed at families with children aged 5-12, (younger siblings may attend, at parents and leaders discretion, but will need a ticket if they will be joining in with activities). Children must be accompanied by at least one adult.
