Park Manager - Scampston Park Lodges

Scampston Park Lodges is one of the finest Holiday Lodge Parks in the North of England. We are seeking a Park Manager for this permanent full-time, live-in role who is self-motivated, organised and efficient.

Scampston Park Lodges is one of the finest Holiday Lodge Parks in the North of England, situated mid-way between the historic city of York and the seaside town of Scarborough. The Park has experienced impressive growth over the past 4 years and has recently developed Phase III of the site, with a further Phase IV to follow.

All the luxury lodges are privately owned by our customers, and no rentals are allowed – this creates a very quiet and desirable retreat for our lodge owners.
We are seeking a Park Manager for this permanent full-time, live-in role who is self-motivated, organised and efficient. The successful candidate will live on-site in a 3-bed Lissett Homes Lodge supplied by Scampston Park Lodges.

The ideal candidate will be self-motivated, deliver exceptional standards, possess first class customer service skills and enjoy working with our private lodge owners. They will also have a positive, flexible and enthusiastic attitude.

Key Responsibilities

The Park Manager’s key responsibilities include:
• Maintaining the Park’s landscape to a very high standard, including all the grounds, hedges, verges, roads, ponds and woodland
• Arranging and carrying out Lodge viewings with prospective customers
• Overseeing delivery of lodges throughout siting and connection to the point of sale
• Day to day Park security
• Ensure all equipment is clean and maintained to a high standard
• Ensure all Health and Safety regulations are met
• Ensure a positive, friendly atmosphere across the Park
• Communicating with the wider Estate
• Pest Control

Qualities, Skills & Experience

We are seeking an exceptional candidate with the following attributes:
• Excellent communication skills
• Be approachable and develop strong positive customer relations
• Experience in landscape maintenance
• A proven multi-tasker who is organised, efficient and productive as well as being accurate and having great attention to detail
• Ability to work on your own initiative and research and solve problems
• Ability to work as part of a team where required
• Confident and professional in dealing with both external and internal parties
• Clean, full UK driving licence is essential

Previous experience within a similar position is desirable but not essential, full training will be provided where required. Please be aware that the role requires flexibility and includes weekend and some evening work.

Package: Salary £23,000-£25,000 + Sales Commission + Benefits
