This session is designed for beginners to the subject of digital photography and no prior knowledge is assumed. Participants will learn the basics of photography, including simple instructions on camera operation, the basics of composition, and the best conditions in which to shoot photographs. We will discover how to approach subjects without scaring them away (easy if it’s a plant!) and come face-to-face with incredible aquatic creatures as we go pond dipping to practice ‘mock’ underwater photography. Participants should bring along their own compact camera, bridge camera or digital SLR camera. Unfortunately we cannot provide photographic equipment.
