Bushcraft Bonanza!

Come along as we find and identify a range of edible plants and use them to make a campfire snack. Take part in the Marshmallow challenge!

After meeting, we will head out to identify and collect edible plants and natural tinder. We will then return to the woodland education area to make and eat foraged pancakes.

Next, family groups will be challenged to start a fire and collect fuel from the woodland.

Finally, we will cut and sharpen toasting sticks for marshmallows to make the perfect s'more.

This session will complete 1 activity needed to earn the RSPB Wild Challenge Award.
